About Us
History
The park was first created in 1973 by a committee of dedicated community members. Originally a gravel pit, the committee first started in 1972 with the creation of the velodrome for cycling enthusiasts. It was made into a park the following year.

The committee is made up of volunteer community members.
The goal of the committee is to create a safe park that can be used and enjoyed by the community. We also work hard to provide great sports programs for children.
